Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
Arclum (“the App”) is developed by Oleksandr Soloviov, an individual entrepreneur (FOP) registered in Ukraine (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the App collects, why, and what choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the App needs to work, we never sell your data, and your voice never leaves your device.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account you provide an email address and password, or sign in with Apple or Google. We store your email address and a display name (if you set one) so you can sign in and recover your account. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
Your readings and preferences
Your daily cards, saved spreads, reflections and reactions (“resonated” marks), selected card deck, language, and app preferences (such as haptics and sound) are stored in your account so they sync with your history and survive reinstalls. Except for content you choose to share (see below), this content is private to your account.
Shared spreads and questions
You can create your own spreads and share them with other people. When you share a spread, its content (name, description, position titles and prompts) and your display name are visible to anyone who opens your link or redeems your code. If you ask a spread’s author a question, the author sees your display name, your question, and the cards of that reading; their answer is delivered back to you. To keep shared spaces safe, the text of shared spreads, questions, and answers is checked automatically for prohibited language at the moment you share it; this check runs on our servers as part of processing the action and no additional data is collected for it.
If you report content, we store the report — your account identifier, the reason you give, and a reference to the reported content — so we can review it and keep a record of the outcome. Content you report is reviewed by us for moderation. You can revoke a share link at any time, and removed or reported content may be retained briefly for moderation and audit purposes.
Voice input
Some spreads let you speak your question aloud. The recording is processed entirely on your device: the temporary audio file is deleted as soon as the reading begins, and only a visual waveform pattern (the “voice imprint”) is kept with your reading. We do not upload, store, transcribe, or analyze your audio, and we cannot hear it.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to keep track of your subscription status (for example, whether your plan is active) using an anonymized app user identifier.
Push notifications
If you enable notifications (for example, a reminder that your daily card is ready), we store a device push token to deliver them. You can turn notifications off at any time in the App or in your device settings.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
- We do not show third-party advertising.
- We do not record, store, or transmit audio of your voice — only the on-device waveform imprint described above.
Service providers
The App relies on a small number of infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, cloud functions, and push notification delivery.
- RevenueCat — subscription status management.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing for subscriptions.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account from within the App (Profile → account settings), which permanently removes your account and the readings stored with it. You can also contact us at support@mail.mapples.app and we will delete your data for you.
Children
Arclum is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@mail.mapples.app.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and note the new revision date above. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
